Calculation of demurrage, freight/demurrage invoices issue, control of payment, cargo release. Contact with shippers and consignees regarding vessels' estimated time of arrival/departure, the details of loading and discharging, changes in bill of lading, etc.
Planning of voyages economy, calculation of the actual economy when voyages done, taking into account all costs, analysis and finding ways to reduce the costs.
Control of movement and location of vessels. Calculation of time required for the passages according to standard recommended routes. Control the speed of vessels, fuel consumption, delays investigating, claims.
Work with bunkering companies. Conclusion contracts for supply of fuel, bunkering. Organization of bunkering, control of supply, payments the invoices.
Work with agency companies, conclusion of agency agreements for ships' attendance in ports. Receiving of disbursement accounts for payment of port charges, monitoring of timely payment, order the necessary supplies in the ports. Operative work with captains of ships, with the agents in ports, freight forwarders, receiving of actual information of vessels, berthing, loading, discharging, customs clearance, departure of vessels, solving all problems that arise.
Arrange of vessels' insurance, claim settlement.
Proceed with ISM Code, carry out of inspections on vessels.

The control over complying of decisions, rules, orders of Ministry of Transport of Russia, mandatory requirements of Federal State Institution " Murmansk maritime port administration", orders of the Head of FSI " Murmansk Maritime Port Administration" - the Captain of port Murmansk, concerning to safety of navigation, requirements for the vessels entering and leaving the port and pollution prevention of water areas of port. Check of ships documents, diplomas, certificates of competency and endorsements of issue of diplomas and certificates of competency.
The control of a seaworthy condition of the vessels leaving the port, irrespective of a flag, with a view of presence of ship's documents and conformity of the basic characteristics of the vessels to ship's documents. Check of diplomas, certificates of competency and endorsements to them, and also complying with the requirements, concerning completion of the ship's crew. Inspection of the vessels of the Russian flag and the vessels of a foreign flags according to requirements of the Paris memorandum of understanding on port state control. The captain heads crew of a vessel, is its head on the basis of one-man management and submits directly to the shipowner. All instructions concerning activity of a vessel are addressed to the captain who is responsible for their performance. The captain carries out protection of legitimate interests and the rights of members of crew and the persons who are being on a vessel. The captain is the representative of the shipowner concerning the transactions caused by needs of a vessel, a cargo or navigation. On behalf of the shipowner or charterer he concludes the transactions connected with agency service of a vessel, a capture of pilots, tows, purchase of the foodstuffs, fuel, supply of a vessel, and other transactions, vessels concerning to operation. The captain is the representative of cargo owners concerning the transactions caused by needs of a cargo if other is not stipulated in contracts of transportation. The captain makes distribution of duties between members of crew on performance of ship works and managements; declares overtime and the emergency works demanding participation of all crew or its significant part; in case of obvious danger to a vessel, people and a cargo, rendering assistance to other vessel or people to establish raised, against norms, an operating mode of the main power-plant or other means, taking up the responsibility for consequences. The captain has the right to apply measures of encouragement and to impose summary punishments on persons of crew of a vessel according to the legislation. The captain publishes orders on a vessel.
