Field Service (NID) BSS Group Leader

Responsible for the operational work of FS BSS group of engineers (20 persons, incl. S/C) and all deployment of BSS services in GSM, UMTS, WiMAx and Microwave projects in NID Mobile Department of Alcatel-Lucent Russia. Main customers are Vympelcom, MTS, STEK, SMARTS, Uralsvyazinform, Synterra. Main duties: planning, instruction, target setting and control of work, development, motivation and hiring of personal, work with Programs and S/C. Development of the department budget and cost control. Regular preparing of reports for the Top Management.
Main achievements:
Implementation of all requested services for internal and external customers (during 2005-2006 totally more than 600 different BSS projects including network roll-outs, new site integrations, new product introduction)
Successful rate was steadily increasing in 2005-06 and reached the level of 98,8% at the end of 2006
Introduced and developed subcontracting; outsourcing of basic activities
Personnel development reached the level of expert for 69% of all available staff (headcount and subcontractors); the rest reached the standard engineer level.
